In 1946, after her experiences in a Japanese internment camp in the Dutch East Indies, Paula must adjust to her distrustful family in Friesland, while struggling with her identity and increasing paranoia caused by a fungus that is ruining the potato harvest.
A student film from the Utrecht Universaty of the Arts. A special project for me, where I had the opportunity to shoot a period film set in 1946 with an amazing team.
